On our last trip to Noosa, we had a teething baby who I swear was possessed by the devil or at very least the spirit of a wild nocturnal animal. Thankfully we chose to stay at the fabulous RACV Resort which caters perfectly for children and sleep deprived parents. Find out what we thought of RACV Noosa Resort.
We stayed in a Two-Bedroom Sanctuary Apartment that was spacious and comfortable for the four of us. The apartment had a master with ensuite and the second bedroom could either be two singles or the option we chose – a King. It’s amazing how much excitement an over-sized bed can bring to a child!
A full kitchen including a four-burner gas stove, microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine has its advantages for dining in. The living area opens out for you to enjoy outdoor dining in the glorious Noosa weather on your private terrace or balcony. Overall plenty of space for the kids with all the luxuries you would have at home.
We love a good buffet breakfast when we are away. Starts the day off right and keeps us going until the afternoon. The Arcuri Restaurant offers a great selection of hot and cold breakfast options and a choice of dining inside or alfresco overlooking the pool. The pancake machine was a hit with the whole family, as well as the made to order eggs.
We became well acquainted with the pools while staying at RACV Resort Noosa. They had upgraded the area between our visits, and we felt it added a wonderful addition to their facilities. Their lagoon pool has a beach entry for the kids to play on and there is a fully shaded toddlers pool for the littlies. We spent most of our time though in the area just beside these, the two water slides and splash park were a little hard to resist.
You don’t need to leave the Resort if you don’t want. They also have bicycle hire, full-size tennis court and a small kids playground adjacent to the pool area.
There are various dinner options at the Resort. Arcuri Restaurant offers modern Australian cuisine; order to your room through room service; or have a laid-back meal at Dazza’s (resort bar). On the weekend and during the school holidays they offer a mean wood fire pizza – I think the words “ best pizza” were mentioned during our meal.
For the fourth consecutive year, RACV Noosa Resort was ranked in the top 25 for Tripadvisor Travellers’Choice awards in Australia for 2017. It was also ranked sixth best in the country in the Family category and 20th in the Luxury category.
