For a complete Toowoomba experience, I would highly recommend staying in an Airbnb. When searching for cheap family accommodation in Toowoomba I was astounded at the number of Airbnbs on offer. East Toowoomba, in particular, is a popular location and is where you will find many places to stay. The location is well-liked as it is close to Queens Park, schools, dining options, and other attractions. If, however, you choose to stay further out of town, everything is a relatively short drive and there is ample street parking around the city.
